Every Robin Williams post I see makes me say, Holy Crap, he did that too! Mork, Garp, Good Morning Vietnam, Fisher King, Aladdin, Good Will Hunting, Moscow on the Hudson, Birdcage, Mrs. Doubtfire, Night at the Museum, Hook, Patch Adams, Popeye, Awakenings, Baron Munchausen. What an incredible body of work. Then throw in Comic Relief, and work he did entertaining soldiers abroad. The thousands of young talents he inspired and nurtured; and the legends that proceeded him that he still included and made feel vital again. I heard David Steinberg on the radio as I drove home and he said of Robin, Ultimately, he could take care of everyone, except himself. How many of us do the same? Always do for others, but never for ourselves? Help others, and let others help you. I need to practice this as well as preach it.
