Every activity, in physical realm, right from subatomic level to the universal level is energised & presided over by a deity corresponding to that particular activity and hence it is suggested in Hinduism that there are 33,000 crore Gods. It is like a driver necessary for every software & hardware without which the software or hardware, however efficient, will not work. Sanatana Dharma, being a code of conduct for effective & enriched living for humans, is meta-scientific and some of its provisions cannot be understood from our present level of knowledge & consciousness. One can only wonder about it and take up a real quest for discovering the truth of existence which, in fact is the only purpose of being created as humans. But unfortunately we are conditioned to understand anything & everything through logical methods which is inherently limited given that intellect itself is limited being an instrument to navigate through the physical world. But the level of intellect can be expanded to grasp the secrets of physical universe but when it comes to the ultimate truths of existence, we need to give up our usual methods of understanding through intellect & through logic which will have to be transcended in silence & stillness to get in touch with that immeasurable reality of non-physical which in fact drives all that are physical.
