Every cadre of political leader in Kashmir is indulging in chicanery and trickery in a bid to woo the voters. Thanks to elections, people are yet again getting to see the hypocrisies and duplicity of mainstream leaders & groups. I wonder how politicians turn into Machiavellian centaur. Few days back, state congress Chief Saifuddin Soz said that coalition partner NC thwarted its moves and initiatives aimed at public good during past six years. Now will Mr Soz bother to explain why it took six long years for this reality to dawn on his congress party that NC was a stumbling block in a way of providing good governance to the people? If Soz’s allegations against the NC are true, one may ask why the congress continued to support the coalition all these years. During past six years the congress party enjoyed all benefits of power without any accountability whatsoever. But today when the overall governance deficit of the ruling coalition has come under scathing criticism, congress party is trying to wash off its hands clean by putting every sort of blame on NC while claiming moral high ground for itself. Stop this rhetoric politics Soz, people are politically mature now!!
