Every day I deal with families struggling with role reversals when dealing with their loved ones who have alzheimers or dementia and over and over again I watch them try to deal with reconciling the parent they used to have with the person who cant remember basic things that we all take for granted but the absolute hardest part is when mom or dad no longer recognizes them. If you have your parents go hug them and tell them that you love them RIGHT NOW!
