Every day, hundreds of thousands of stray dogs and cats wander the streets of Nanjing. Ping An Afu may not be the only place to take on the responsibility of rescuing these lonely animals but they still need a lot more volunteers to help. Like these foster parents, who help the growing puppy transition into daily life, the front-line rescue workers are very important.
