Every day, in the morning as I begin being active, I say a simple prayer: Oh God, satisfy my needs, redeem my debts, protect me from deceit, and help me to see the truth. Today Grace came to me and averted disaster. I had taken a train to the airport in Casablanca to rent a car. After the paperwork, and reaching the car in the parking lot, I put one suitcase in the trunk, but left the other out while inspecting the vehicle with an employee for blemishes. The car is a cheap rental that has some dings. When I drove out of the lot I stopped by the gate because I had trouble making the air conditioning work. I couldnt get it to work. I called someone over and had to borrow their phone, and call the desk. I was told the vehicle did not have air-conditioning and that is what I paid for. Just then, a man came dragging my other bag, asking if I had left it. My heart stopped because it had my passport, laptop and camera in it. Everything important and I had driven away without it. I would have driven four hours and left it behind in a parking lot if I had not stopped . . . and I think GRACE occurred.
