Every day when you open the newspaper you read about crimes, corruption, the economic crisis, allegations and counter allegations. But over the last few days the papers have been filled with reports of the massive and horrible tragedy in Uttarakhand - one of our most scenic states and revered ones due to the countless shrines. Equally but more disturbing is the fact that we are right now seeing situations of exploitation ; one up manship -- have we as a race plumbed to so low depths ? have we lost all sense of decency and morality ? This is the time for all of us to come together lend a hand , give hope , provide solace and above all rise above pettiness and finger pointing exercises to rebuild the lives of those countless people who have been displaced, injured , rendered homeless or without livelihoods. Wake up India its not about who does it but it is about what you do and how fast you do.
