Every foreigner knows that to invest in the UK means more than just a profit opportunity. The reurns to investment here are far greater. Im not all that sure that we need enormous tax breaks for the wealthy to come here. But perhaps it helps. Look at the immigration statistics, Premiership and other, elite sport, historical centre of commerce and finance, I am sure that there are those with a bigger list than I have. Hostile? Go home? There are similar issues in every modern country. Find something better to screech about. European exodus? Not rational. Political. And, if people buggered off early in the life of the euro, before it rebounded, they could have made a glaring error. Theyll be back, or their children. Or their competitors!
