Every human being that has ever lived has experienced insecurity. That thought alone gives me comfort in my own moments of insecurity. That means we have all shared that same feeling, that same pain, that same heartbreak, that same fear. But what gives me even more comfort is knowing that we serve a God who has the power to heal that insecurity. God didnt create insecurities but He has allowed them to be present in our lives in order to cultivate our need for Him. Without them..we wouldnt really know what it means to need God. Insecurities set limitations on us but they remind us of how limitless God is. Every person has insecurity because we need God to be our security. Until we embrace our need for God we will continue to live in insecurity, pain, & brokenness. But the moment we acknowledge our need for Him is the moment we gain the strength we always needed to overcome..that strength being Him.
