Every morning facebook asks us...what have you been up to? For the last few weeks I have been asking you, what will you aim to accomplish in a new year? In facebook terms...what will you be up to in 2015? For many there are easily seen milestones to anticipate such as graduations, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, etc. How about looking past whats right in front of our eyes and imagining things that might require a deeper look, more focus, more intention to see. My word for 2014 was opportunity, and after much thought, I have chosen vision for 2015, what do I see happening in the coming year? How will I take the opportunities that materialized in 2014 and build upon them? I want to see beyond the surface of faces and places. We move at such a fast pace, information is exchanged in an instant, and we have a tendency to miss detail if we dont intentionally show down a bit and put everything into focus, see the layers, complexity and beauty of whats happening around us. Vision. What do I see happening in my personal life, my professional work, my yet unseen circumstances? What will I see if I open my eyes and my mind more fully? Im excited at the prospect! What are you excited about seeing in 2015? If you have chosen a word for 2015, Id love to hear it, will you share? As I post for the last time in 2014, I want to thank all of you for reading, writing words of encouragement and support and being companions on this wonderful ride we call life. However you mark the end of 2014, please be safe, have fun and wake up tomorrow eager about what well see happen and create in 2015...will you?
