Every now and then I get down on myself for working in the service - TopicsExpress

Every now and then I get down on myself for working in the service industry due to the occasional ungrateful customer. I think to myself, Id much rather be spending my time working at something that is benefiting humanity, not serving tables. This interview reminded me that I actually already am working in a place that is benefiting humanity immensely. And quite honestly its pretty rare and few at The Kitchen Next Door Boulder to come across extremely rude customers, comparative to my other restaurant jobs. I definitely believe it has to do with the Kitchens emphasis on building community. Other restaurants could learn a lot from The Kitchen Community. Feeling grateful to work for a restaurant thats intention is beyond making money and serving food.Gratitude.
