Every now and then, I would like to introduce you to the men and women Fantabela partners with. Fantabela is a Fair Trade company that prides itself for working with Third World countries artisans as well as local artisans based here in the U.S.A ( tailor, seamstresses, fabric traders....). This is Fantabelas way of combatting poverty in some of those areas. It is also our way of providing them with a broader forum to display their craft . So far we have 4 crafters partnering with us ( 2 tailors and 2 seamstresses). One of our tailors lives here in the U.S.A. So today our featured artisan is Mireille, she lives in Yaounde, the capital of Cameroon. She is a wife and a mother and she owns her own sewing shop. Mireille has been partnering with Fantabela for over 8 months now. She specializes in childrens clothes. She manufactured all of Fantabelas little girls dresses. She is now manufacturing some of the womens attires. We are so grateful to have her on board. Thank you Mireille! We love you!!
