Every now and then, I’m blessed with the opportunity to speak with groups and share our family’s story and mission. It’s my hope that in sharing our journey, our world will grow to be a more accepting and inclusive place for Beau, Bitty & the millions of others living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Yesterday, I found myself encouraged by this young group of people at Friends School of Wilmington who needed no reminder that every life has value and deserves respect. Beau & Bitty should be so lucky to have friends like you in their lives someday.
