Every now and then a client does so well that I risk pissing people off by bragging about their work. This is one of those times haha, people wonder why i typically start new clients off on higher rep lighter weight programs... clearly its because the only program that works for beginners is 5x5 and you cant make gains training with higher reps... :D LOL this guy is 2 months in and hes still doing 20 reps on deadlifts, he will be able to add weight to the bar for MONTHS to come before he comes close to stalling out. these sort of gains cant even be made on typical 5x5 type programs because you would get too heavy too fast or you would hold your self back for too long in the beginning of the program when your doing 5x5 with submaximal weights. ----------------------------- Taylor smith: Hey man! I know its been about 2 months since youve given me my program, but I just wanted to get back to you on the results Ive been having, its insane! In the past two months Ive went from 171-191 eating strictly the right amount of foods and I really havent seen much of a fat gain! I havent measured, but my arms were about 15 inches and theyre now almost 17!! I can still see my upper and and have some shoulder striations! And Ive never been this strong in my life either! Ive even missed a few days here and there of lifting because of schedule etc! Im now benching 195x5 reps and about to start the next workout where you delays 25lbs each set from a 135x19 set starting out. Im deadlifting 245x20 starting out from a 165x20, and I get stronger in my deadlifts each week! Im close grip benching 165x16 starting out with 125x20 and shoulder pressing 135X10 when I started out at 85x19! Ive missed a few leg days because of some school association projects, but I started out at 135x20 almost collapsing last rep and now Im at 185x20 easily! And the strength gains arent really slowing! Every day when I wake up I seem to look a little bigger in the Mirror and my medium shirts are way to small in the shoulders chest and arms to wear! And large sleeves are still tight! I even had to go from a 28 waist pants relaxed fit to a 30 waist loose fit because my legs were too big for them! And the waist is loose! All I can say is thanks a lot! Im extremely happy with my results!
