Every now and then one must splurge and leave the diet or even thoughts of a diet (sorry Dr . Sam Bradberry) -- I just finished an 8 oz (1/2 lb) bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions at a convenience store in Newport, TN. Tom Reavis and I had one during a whirlwind trip home from the Biltmore two years ago New Years Eve at 12:15 New Years Day EST -- Eve CST. I have longed for another to see if the first was a fluke. The second was better than the first!!!!! The store is the EZ Pay 19 Exxon Station in Newport, TN Off Highway 25/70 Dandridge to North Carolina Road -- Off I 40 exit 432 A -- across from Rusty Wallace Ford. Andrew Hurst was the Chef today!! All travelers must try it. A little girl, maybe 5 years old, said to me -- The corn dogs are even better. Pictures -- the store, the burger after first couple of bites, and last two bites, alongside my 2% no fat milk!!
