Every once in a while I reach out to the Facebook community of Maddie & Friends supporters and ask for help for a specific animal. This little boy, Timothy (Tiny Tim) was brought to us by someone who found him in their yard. He was limping/not using one of his back legs so he was taken first to their vet where xrays were taken. The xrays show a severely broken back leg. And after our vet, Dr. Amy, reviewed what she could see in the xray, she also fears there may be more damage - It is definitely serious and comminuted (in multiple pieces) fracture. My other concern is the pelvis. So he is scheduled for surgery, amputation of his leg, on Friday. The surgery will be costly, from low to high, $750 - $900, depending on what needs to be done. Tim is being fostered by MaryEllen and after he recovers, he will be placed for adoption. He is the sweetest boy, as you can see from his pictures. Even with his injury, he still manages to make it into his litter box.
