Every once in a while in life, a person is lucky and actually realizes they somehow were able to help another person. Usually we take it for granted. Today I received a note from a friend telling me how grateful he was for a post I made back in November. Some of you may remember I was very happy Kay was able to get off Cobra and get insurance with Humana at a savings of $149 a month for a Platinum no deductible, $1500 total cap . My friend was paying $1045 a month for his wifes insurance. He now has the same policy for his wife as I have for Kay. He is actually paying $39 less than we are......$610 a month for a Platinum plan on Humana......no subsidies.....(different county and city,same state). To say he was very grateful for the information on my post, would be an understatement!
