Every parent, and especially mother, believes that their child is the best mannered child. But when someone walks to you and actually tells you that they are yet to meet a most respectful child like yours, it simply melts your heart. Last evening a neighbor told me just that. She was walking home struggling with heavy luggage. My son happened to be out of the house at the same time and saw her. He walked to her, introduced himself and asked to carry the shopping to her place. She says she was speechless but most grateful. She concluded by saying: in this generation, this is unheard of. He must have got these good habits from you or your husband This got me thinking. We should not condemn this generation. I believe our children copy, to some extent what we do. We can purpose to role model to them the world we wish to live in and even if they choose to detour, they wont detour too far from what we role model. And most importantly, lets commit them to Gods care and guidance. Do have a most blessed weekend.
