Every positive creates its perfect opposite. Interesting example (something which has been on my mind lately). Jewish history clearly shows the remarkable expertise of Jews to adapt to new environment successfully, even when those environments were overtly hostile and even anti-semitic. They are, if nothing else, survivors. So, through the centuries, others have viewed their successful adaptation skills with envy and have often thought of Jews as cunning or crafty and its just these projections which have led to their exile and even extermination through the centuries.
