Every reputable rescue, that I know of, in Southern California is full. I picked up these sweet kittens, doing my AC job, today. They do not have an owner, no one is looking for them, they were dumped and left to starve to death. They were taped inside of a box and the box was placed in an inconspicuous place, near large trash bins, in direct sunlight. I am wondering if anybody happens to have any ideas so that these gentle, starved domestics can be saved? In the photos you will see the kittens ravenously finishing 3 cans of c/d. They have eye infections probably from minor uris and POSSIBLE calici. The 2 orange tabbies are boys and the gray tabby is a girl. They are VERY, VERY friendly. Our contracted vets office graciously agreed to keep them overnight while we attempted to devise a plan to keep them safe long term. We are also working on getting funds to combo. They are approximately 9 weeks in age, have received their first deworming, teramycin for eyes and revolution. They are also, at present, probably flea anemic. Even given everything that they have been through, they are eating REALLY good on their own. The vet doesnt think that they should get their first vaccines for like a week because she doesnt want them to get sicker. Any ideas would be a blessing... :)
