Every shift for the past week and half I have seen this truck! Some of you will understand the meaning and why it is so hard! As with anything I have tried to make it as positive as I can. I have tried to remember that if the good lord above brings me to it, he will see me through it! With that, is it easy absolutely not. I finally for the first time the other night opened up and talked about all of the events that transpired when I lost my father! It was a huge relief. I have always been one to hold things in and not burden people with my problems. Accepting that Im not 10ft tall and bullet proof, and accepting that Im not Ok has been a struggle for me. Knowing that Dad taught me as much about life and the Lord, as he did EMS, helps me carry on. To me seeing this truck was a sign from dad that he knew I was having a real hard time, from not knowing how to talk about it, and just dealing with it. It was him reminding me that he is still with me everyday. Hes in my heart! With that I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Take the time and spend with your family. Please remember my family in your prayers over this next week.
