Every single day I see something negative on Facebook/Twitter about artists such as Florida-Georgia Line and Taylor Swift. These posts normally come from musicians on my feed which is what humors me the most. I personally am huge fans of both artists and they influence my writing every day. Just because you may not like the sound of music they create, doesnt mean they are bad artists and make country music so horrible to listen to now. This is just a simple reminder to musicians who constantly hate on other styles of music: Understand that these two artists have sold more records and are more successful than you could ever dream of being in your life. These artists are selling out stadiums day in and day out, charting at #1 with EVERY release, and are actively involved in the community and giving to charities. Please let me remind you that your band is not doing any of these (nor is mine) and as artists, we need to appreciate the hard work and dedication that goes into this art form. I think there are more issues in todays music that deserve more attention than FGLs style of writing which you hate so much.
