Every single time I talk to Jordan and with every single letter she writes me, I become more and more proud of her and proud of myself for making a very difficult decision, putting my foot down and sticking with it. She has shown more respect to me in the last 5 weeks than she has in the last couple of years! Shes learning so much about herself and others and about how really good she had it here at home. She honestly sounds like a different person and she even thanks me for not giving in when she begged me not to make her go. Shes even saying she wants to stay in Tahlequah and finish her Freshman year at Sequoyah and possibly the rest of High School. Im torn by this, but Im also so extremely proud of the amazing, incredible person she is and the mature, responsible, respectful young woman shes becoming. This girl even wants to start going to Pow Wows! Ha! What are they doing to her in Cherokee Country? 😉 Do me a favor please and keep us in your prayers. I know shell make the best decision possible for herself. ❤
