Every so often a singer-songwriter comes along and makes a great debut album, then something happens and they sadly never release the next one. Our next showcase artist produced an album called Earthbound back in 1997 on the Wildstar label. The album scored five Top 40 singles in the UK Singles Chart and our artist was deservedly nominated for a BRIT Award. SOTD No. 231 comes from Connor Reeves with a great song called My Fathers Son. youtu.be/pApcz78QRow Connor is still in the music industry and has written songs for Artful Dodger, Rod Stewart, Blue, Joss Stone and Westlife. He released a three track EP in early 2006 called Welcome to the Future and a double A-side single in the autumn of 2007 called Joy/As love is my witness. If you dont have Connors music in your collection, it is worth checking out. A great piece of British soul.
