Every so often we get to produce an episode that deserves a little extra time and effort. This weeks Outdoor Oklahoma television show was a year in the making. And the effort was worth the wait. This episode called Making Monsters! gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservations efforts to produce trophy largemouth bass in Oklahomas waters. For nearly a year, we followed the process of how Florida largemouth bass are produced at the Durant State Fish Hatchery. This episode provides a fascinating look at the process that culminates with bass fingerlings being stocked in Oklahoma lakes.
