Every time I go into the core of Atlanta, whether it be Buckhead, Midtown, or Downtown, I always have to admire the distinct skyline the Empire City of the South has accomplished. It may be a more recent invention, and we may not have the most classic skyline like the Art Deco skyscrapers of New York, but we still have some of the tallest, most unique towers in the Southeast. We also have Bank Of America Tower, the tallest building in the United States outside of New York and Chicago, with its neo-Art Deco architechure. We have the Westin Peachtree Plaza, the tallest hotel in the United States. People talk down about Atlanta, but we really are a world-class city.
