Every time I look at facebook my heart is broken a little bit when I learn of the many new dogs that have ended up in shelters. Thousands of them are put to death each day because there are no homes for them. Please know that when you get a pet it is for life, not a few months, until you decide to move somewhere that doesnt allow dogs, or decide to have a human baby. If you are thinking of getting a pet, dont support breeders when there are thousand of beautiful, loving dogs in shelters that are would be so grateful to be saved. My Lily lets me know many times a day how appreciative she is and how much she loves me. And, no not all shelter dogs have behavior issues or health problems. Most dont and make the best pets. Please share with your friends.
