Every time Ive seen Les Mis, Ive enjoyed it a little more than the time before. It was great at Shenandoah but, I was sitting so far back I couldnt see facial expression (very important in a production filled with such emotion), next I saw it at McCoy where I could see every emotion on every face which made it so much more enjoyable. Tonight, I saw it at Potomac State and was really only going to see my boy (my man), Alex McDonald, play the part of Marius. However, I found myself smiling (or crying) all the way through. Maybe its because I can follow the story a little more each time but I, my sister and my friend Katherine Silliman Hefner, who were both seeing it for the first time couldnt stop talking about how AWESOME it was!!!!! BRAVO to Alex Linn McDonald, Tim Day, Joshua Arnold, Brian Tucker, Kimberli Rowley Dinteman, Curtis Westfall, Maddie Bohrer, Angela Terhark Merrithew, Travis Adair Hayward, Tommy Nester, Jordan Kline, Ernie Poling and the entire cast (and orchestra). You were all AMAZING but, I have to give my most emphatic props to Curtis! There has never been a more impressive death scene on ANY stage EVER............including the most prestigious stages on Broadway!!!!! You ROCKED it, Curtis.........but, then, you ALWAYS do!!!!!! And, Alex, for the record.........youre Empty Chairs and Empty Tables was PERFECT!!!!!
