Every time you pray that God bless Nigeria,God save Nigeria, God help this great country. God do this, God do that. Yet you refuse to play your role in finding solution to a system that has not worked for decades. A system that has failed woefully. You insist on doing the same things, the same shambolic political structure, the same lopsided system bedeviled by inequities and mutual distrust. Despite your prayers in the Churches/Mosques, you remain stuck in old ways of doing things. Instead of finding better solutions, you remain stuck in your self-imposed delusion that Nigeria will be better. You expect God to send some kind of angels or better still come down himself/herself to deliver Nigeria. You do not want the geographical entity to be restructured so that unnecessary frictions at the center could be curtailed. You are against regional autonomy and resource control that will bring the best out of every region. You do not even have any better idea for the ailing system. Your own is just that God should intervene. Maybe you believe that great countries became great by just praying. You believe that the Asian Tigers, Europe and America achieved economic and political emancipation via churches and mosques. Youre a failure my friend and I tell you, God needs to deliver Nigeria from people of your kind!
