Every time you take a break to make Salah even though your to-do list is impossible; every time you break your fast with a date even though youve never cared for the taste; every time you wear a hijab even though it makes your face look too round; every time you give charity even though youre saving for a new pair of shoes; every time you kiss and forgive your distraught child even though youve almost reached breaking point, remember Allah. That good deed that you do, that Sunnah that you keep, in spite of discomfort or hardship or just not feeling it, could be the one that shows Allah taala how much you love Him, how devoted you are to Him, how much you long for His Pleasure.
