Every trip I have taken leaves me with different memories. I lean towards Mother Nature, embracing her radiance of colors, her peace and stillness, that wash away the day. A simple sun rising above a mountain range or falling into the ocean. Thunder and rain that humble, or a majestic tree that inspires. Nature offers you the chance to realize how little you know, and how little you will ever know. Nature puts you in your proper place. Every trip also connects me with people as well. Locals, natives, as we say. In India, smiling is infectious. The locals are all beyond kind. They look, they smile, they listen, they help. Often you do not need to look far to see what is important. The kindness of others is close at hand. The kindness that spills from the heart, can mean so much. These people have offered me the chance to realize how little I need, and how little I actually really have. They too, put you in a proper place.
