Every week I drive by the same houses to and from work. For the past few weeks I noticed a rather run down house on the corner of Cedar Creek Rd and Hicks Rd - where there are 2 sweet looking dogs tied outside. Every day for the last week I have stalked the house driving by in the am and pm and the dogs are always outside, rain, cold night. So last night I knocked at the homeowners door and confronted them, I was told they are animals, get a grip! They were freezing cold - one lab one Maltese - in the dirt, with a filthy bowl without any water! I cant stop thinking of these poor babies - of course I gave them love and water, untangled their chains before the owner came out to tell me to leave - when I gave him a full lecture on being a responsible pet owner! All pet owners needs to be screened before being allowed to get a pet. And yes I called the animal control office already!
