Every week Linda and I devote several hours of our time to the Greater Miami Youth Symphony. This is the most amazing youth orchestra in South Florida. The music is beautiful, the kids are beautiful. Today is an annual charity event called Give Miami Day. Every donation during this 24 hours (Wed. 11.20.13) is met with additional funds from the Miami Foundation. The group is traveling to Dublin in March to perform with the Dublin Youth Orchestra, and not every kid can afford to go.
