Every year I see kids/families fail in the recruiting process because of pride. They are too prideful to take advice because they think they know it all and have all the answers. They burn bridges because they are bitter that they arent treated the way they felt they should have been or the way someone else was. Who cares how many offers someone else has? Who cares how many offers you have/dont have right now? Everyone can only sign with 1 school and the soonest you can do it is the 1st Wednesday of February each year. And thats just the start date, tons of offers and signings happen all the way into the Spring, sometimes even the summer. So do yourself/your kid a favor and stay humble, stay hungry, stay respectful, stay patient, stay proactive, keep learning, be a good person, and this will work out in the end. Not always the way you want it, but always for the best in the long run.
