Every year I somewhat dread January for the simple facts that the gym gets overrun with new year resolutioners and it seems that by about April of every year 90% of them seem to stop showing up and eventually quit, and Im ashamed to say that in past years that fact made me happy for the reasons of less crowed gyms and just overall aggravation at times. This year was different, as I watch many of them one by one leave through out these 3 months it made me feel a little down and disappointed. To watch people come so far and change so much and just give up so easy, thinking that 2 or 3 months of the fitness lifestyle would turn them into supermodels and being so dissatisfied with there results they consequently quit, not knowing that they were making incredible changes to there bodies and lifes..... Getting in shape is a learning experience and a long long longggg process but worth every step you take. Taking control of your health is taking control of your life....Sore? Out of breath?Tired? Sweaty? Good.... Its working, dont give up, every improvement no matter how little is still and always will be improvement. This may not mean much to anyone but I hope at least it may inspires or motivates someone to try again or to not quit. When you think about quitting think about why you started.
