Every year around this time my heart gets heavy. The lives of everyone in America changed that awful day thirteen years ago forever. We cant undo the hurt or ever even begin to fill the loss of what happened. What we can do is remember... Remember that life is fragile and precious. At any moment the ones we cherish can be taken. Remember to make each day count, make memories, because one day the ones we love will be gone. In the midst of the loss and sorrow we all came together as Americans. As a Nation we all Stood as One. As a New Yorker it was overwhelming to see first responders, elected officials, and every day people stepping in and stepping up, diving in to help without pause. Its so hard to lose the ones we love, but love never ends, and love never forgets. The ones we love are never really far away, they live on in each and every one of us. We carry them with us in our daily lives until we see them again in heaven. In honor of those who lost their lives that awful day, and to the families who lost loved ones...
