Every year at this time I pay a visit to my grandfathers grave and sit there and reminisce on the world that we live in. The cold world, the war, the controversy between our nation and the evil that we are dealt with. Today as I sat there a word that struck me, is the word Value. Its a word we take for granted in our busy lives, but a meaning we dont take enough advantage of. As the years rack up the word Value changes meaning. As a kid Value was the price of the toys we wanted or phone we needed etc, but as we get older the word Value is spending time with our families, friends and loved ones. As i stood over his grave I thought about the times I didnt VALUE enough with him, how every weekend he would call me up and ask to go to breakfast and I would be to busy or make excuses as to why I could not see him. Now I wait for that phone call, but I know I will never receive it. So this holiday season Value the people you have around you, the cousins, the uncles, the aunts, the grandparents, the friends and even the pets and Value there wisdom and there reminiscing of old days because its time like those you will Value the most and may never get again.
