Every year hundreds of thousands of tourists visit the Morro Castle in Havana. If every visitor pays 6-8 dollars, why does the socialist estate pays 25-30 to the people who work in that place? But they found a simple solution: they dont declare a considerable part of the visitors, so their money goes to the workers pockets. In Cuba a job is classified good or bad according to how much you can steal from the estate (Cubans dont use the word steal but say instead struggle or get). Its common to hear people talking about the dignity of the Cuban people. What does dignity mean then?
