Every year on Remembrance Day, in Gettysburg the Gettysburg Museum - TopicsExpress

Every year on Remembrance Day, in Gettysburg the Gettysburg Museum of History sponsors a wreath at the Sickles wounding monument. We are honoring Sickles and ALL the soldiers who were wounded and killed at the battle of Gettysburg. General Sickles lost his leg after being wounded on July 2nd 1863. He later was presented the Medal of Honor for gallantry at Gettysburg. After a few appropriate words we went to the Gettysburg National Cemetery to reflect on the sacrifices made by so many men here. Each grave marker has a candle placed on it during this remembrance day evening. Seeing this is a very moving experience. Please think of the soldiers who fell at Gettysburg tonight. Please share.
