Every year, on this day, I think back to a previous reality of mine and my families. Full of surgeries, hospitals, invasive needles, and failed life saving treatments. I was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia when I was 9yrs old. No doctor believed there was a chance for me to be now turning 28! I have no one other to thank than Jesus Christ for saving my life. The power of prayer is a wonderful and magical thing. Although my life is shifting gears right now somewhat.. I have several things to be thankful for. A beautiful daughter who I couldnt be more in love with, a career of people who treat me with respect and love me as a person, a fantastic group of friends who love me and support me at ever turn, and a god who continues to bless me, and show me that I was saved for a reason. Life often feels like more than we can handle, but I personally feel, if we just hold on, the ending will make it so worth the ride.
