Every year, the Canadian government allows sealers to beat and skin hundreds of thousands of seals for their fur. Each year, seal hunters in Canada participate in the largest mass slaughter of marine mammals in the world. Hundreds of thousands of seals are slaughtered before theyre 12 weeks old.
