Every year, the Town chips thousands of Christmas trees. Town crews will begin picking up Christmas trees January 16, 2015 on a neighbourhood by neighbourhood basis until all are collected. For tree collection: Place your tree at your regular garbage/recycling collection area (lay it down on its side); remove the decorations, tree stand and screws; do not put the tree in a plastic bag.
