Every year, we are blessed with awesome couples whom we end up forging friendships with. Leonard and Jean is one of them. Our initial meeting with them was a positive one. They are very laid back people, genuine and smile a lot. They left us with a lasting impression. :) Few weeks later, Leonard contacted us separately, making his own way down to our office for a private discussion. Even though they were in the midst of preparing for their wedding, he had not propose to her yet. He patiently went through his plan with us, ironing out every single details while we plotted on our end the possible hideouts to capture reaction shots. Kudos to Leonard for his efforts as he actually spent a few sleepless nights in just to make sure everything run as smoothly as possible. The day finally came. Everyone arrived and took on their respective roles at The Screening Room- a really nice chill out place with a theatre room which specially caters for group gatherings to watch a movie of their choice while indulging in food at the same time. We had to execute Plan B as it was pouring heavily outside. The original plan was to get Jude to shoot from outside in, which is no longer possible in this case. Fortunately, we bumped across a store room located just right beside the screen, just big enough for Jude to hide and grab his shots in stealth mode. We felt a keen sense of excitement when we got the shot of Jean lighting up, realizing what she was watching to be a proposal video. That was the most crucial shot in our aspect, which could make or break the video. Our confidence was clearly boosted, with Edwina finally getting the key shot of Leonard kneeling down and popping the question. It was the first time we tried our hands on a proposal shoot. Not easy, but certainly rewarding. We would love to do it again for sure. As for Leonard and Jean, glad everything turned out better than we imagined. Thank you LOADS for granting us the opportunity.
