Every youth in Benue wan hammer and since there are no jobs, dearth of entrepreneurial skills, or capital for a start when available, its not surprising that everyone is gradually transiting into politics which is considered the goldmine. The motivation is undoubtedly poverty which transcends from the leaders to the led and not genuine interest to turn around the fortunes of an already impoverished state. Politics they say its the game of interest, they never added the personal so I suppose it meant the interest of the people. So if truly thats what it meant then why do some us of unabashedly indulge in the sycophancy act of praise singing(even when clearly undeserving) in the hope that when the elections are won and the looting commences, we could also start feeding on the below-the-table crumbs? Does the future of your state, kids, and other millions of jobless matter to you? A day of reckoning would surely come, if not here on earth then the hereafter. Be warned!
