Everybody has a day like this. The day that becomes a marker for all other days that follow and all of those that happened prior. It can be called a world crasher or a call to treasured memories. The day that all past is called into account. For me, it was those hand-holding, child-rearing, roping, athletic games watching, farming, planning, building, studying, hoping, praying, traveling, dancing, sponsoring, camping, hunting, doctor visiting, faith-filled days. We could all go on and on. You have your list and I have mine. The loss of a spouse, child, dad, mom, grandparent, in laws, brother, sister, friend. Its a day of mourning that allows a time to store up in our hearts, treasures, and treasured memories. I hope you are making sweet memories today. Our Jim took his spot in heaven 13 years ago yesterday. God has our lives planned. Nothing is a surprise to Him. He has a big, good plan. Search for it and Him as a Treasure. We may not see it quickly or even in this life, but as uneasy as this scripture is to speak sometimes, it is true.....Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
