Everybody has seen the problem of homelessness, but I think we have to have a sense of urgency. It’s affecting everybody, not just those in substandard housing. It’s the world we live in. I was talking to a businessman, and I asked him, ‘Is it not your dream that all your employees go home to decent housing?’ If this doesn’t affect our conscience, there is something wrong with our conscience. My dream is for everyone to work with his sphere of influence. More organizations should go into it. Di kaya na kami lang (It cannot be just us). We’re trying to show how it can be done.
