Everybody has something they fear, but parents/families of child loss fear something nobody should fear. They fear life. Why? Because once child loss has entered our lives, we now know that the unthinkable can happen, and once this happens our view of life changes. We no longer believe trite cliches. We doubt that if were living a good, honest life that only good and honest things will return to us. We know that friends will leave us because they grow tired of our tears. There are times when we question the very wisdom of God! And, all of our questions are wrapped up in one word: fear. We fear life and what else will happen to us in this life. Oh, how much we wish we never had to experience the loss of our precious child! We miss our child with every breath that we breathe!!!
