Everybody has something to sell, and we have to sell otherwise people will not buy whatever we are selling. If people are not sold, they will reject whatever we are selling. We are the product that we sell. Our word does not sell, and our oratorical skills will not sell the product, WE sell the product. The best way to sell anything is not to try to sell, because a picture is worth more than a thousand words. Jesus never sold Himself. Just by being who he was, sold. People were attracted to Him, because He did what He was sent to do. The gospel does not need to be sold, it sells itself. We do not need a new way to present the gospel to people, they need to see the truth in our lives, and they will be sold. Too many of us do not look like the product we are trying to sell, thus many people continue to reject the truth because of us. Charity begins at home, us first, then the world. Think about it, cigarette commercial never sell their product by using a lung cancer patient. They always use the opposite ( A picture of health, and coolness). We must become the light of the world, the salt of the earth, the answer to the worlds problem, the hope of the world.
