Everybody loves a parade! Coupeville has one of the best Memorial Day parades all around. This is an old-fashioned, honor the veterans and widows kind of parade with soldiers in uniform and marching bands and antique cars. Here is what the Chamber wrote about this years parade: Coupevilles Memorial Day Parade and Celebration Saturday May 24, 11 a.m. Parade begins on South Main at 11 a.m. and ends at Town Park. This years Parade features The US Navy Marching Band Northwest, Grand Marshal, bayleafs owner Beth Kuchynka, Pearl Harbor, WWII, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Coupeville High School Band, Community Floats, Tractors, Fire Engines and more. Parade is followed by the Remembrance Ceremony and Musical Salute to the Armed Services. Free Hot Dogs will be served beginning at 1 p.m. following the Remembrance Ceremony. Bring you chairs, blankets, picnic and spend an afternoon in the park. Parade is proudly organized by the Coupeville Chamber of Commerce.
