Everybody trusts in something. This is what keeps us going in several areas of life. Some trust in other people. Some have an exaggerated opinion of themselves and their abilities. Others trust in gods. But how credible are these alternatives? Indeed, there are no alternatives to trusting in God. Every day presents us with fresh opportunities to test where we have placed our trust. We can define the object of our trust by looking at the areas we devote our resources: time, effort and attention. If our trust is in God, then we will invest time seeking Him and pursuing His will for our lives. You cannot go wrong when you trust in God and you can never be put to shame. Whatever you do, make sure your trust is in the Lord.
